I’m all about giving credit where credit’s due, and there have been many clever people that have helped make Flicker & Flock a reality! So, if you’re wondering where all the prettiness that makes up this website has come from, here are the details…
For the main website design, I used the Darling framework created by Restored 316 Design (check them out if you love gorgeously girly themes), and then customised + adapted it from there.
I used the beautiful Butterscotch typeface in my Flicker & Flock logo.
The styled images on the homepage slider were developed using the Girly Girl Mock-Up pack.
As well as customising the above design elements to suit Flicker & Flock, I also hand-drew the floral wreath in the logo and created the watercolour splashes you see on the site background.
A massive thank you also to Abby from Just a Girl and Her Blog for writing a blog that inspired me to do this one (if you love Flicker & Flock you will absolutely love hers!), and for so generously imparting the knowledge + wisdom that is helping make sites like mine a success.
